28 -- Synopsis for Procurement of VANE, TURBINE ENGINE; NSN: 7RE 2840 01-369-2119 DQ; P/N: 23009375 SOL N0038316G001M DUE 110819Josh Stolle 215-697-2983The NAVSUP Weapon System Support plans to award a delivery order against BOA N00383-16-G-001M for the procurement of VANE, TURBINE ENGINE; NSN: 7RE 2840 01-369-2119 DQ; P/N: 23009375. Rolls Royce (63005), located in Indianapolis, IN, is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source to possess full manufacturing capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. Therefore, this item is sole source to Rolls Royce (63005) Even though this item is sole source to Rolls Royce, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.For any questions concerning this notice, contact the PCO, Josh Stolle at (215)697-2983.The subject items require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not beendetermined adequate to support repair via full and open competition.Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these itemswill be solicited.The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal,the information detailed in the NAVICP Source Approval Information Brochure forRepair.This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your companys experience in repair of the same or similar items. This brochure can beobtained at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navicp/business_opps or by calling the NAVICP PCO.
