McNeill, Contracting Officer, Email kelly.mcneill@socom.milNaval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for Wetsuit Systems to beused as a diving ensemble for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) personnel in underseaenvironments as well as land application in the tactical environment. To keep the user comfortable, the wetsuit shall provide the greatest degree of thermal warmth and must be durable enough for rugged maritime operations. The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, issuing Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Orders. The estimated minimum contract value is $5,000 and the estimated maximum contract value is $6,450,000.00

The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal AcquisitionRegulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This acquisition will utilize a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 315990, Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees.

A complete Request for Quote package will be available for downloading at the FBO website. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Information on SAM may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov.

In order to gain explicit access to the solicitation and associated attachments, interested vendors must be registered in sam.gov under NAICS code 315990. Vendors not registered in SAM under this NAICS code will not be given access.
