The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY& IMF) intends to solicit a Firm Fixed-Price contract to provide disassembly and inspections services of the port and starboard forward main reduction gear(MRG) bearing assembly on a Los Angeles-class MOD 25 submarine.
Tentative Period of Performance: 18 NOV 2019 - 29 NOV 2019
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment- Ship and Marine Equipment.
Written offers should be submitted in accordance with the CLIN structure that will be outlined in the forthcoming solicitation. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) by the award date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses will be those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2019-06, DFARS DPN20190531, and NMCARS18-06. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 336611 and Size Standard of 1,250 apply to this procurement.
CLIN Structure:
0001 - FFP CLIN - Technical representative to provide guidance, disassembly and technical inspection in accordance with the PWS on the Fwd MRG bearings of aLos Angeles-class MOD 25 submarine.
0002 - Travel - This COST CLIN covers the cost of travel in accordance with DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). This CLIN will cover the initial travel to inspect the MRG. This CLIN is a NTE $7,532. The Contractor will be required to submit a breakdown of the travel costs.
Note: There will be no Sunday or Holiday Pay authorized for this requirement. Please do not include in quote.
The Solicitation for this requirement will be posted no later than 07 NOV 2019.
Quotes are due to this office no later than 08 NOV 2019, 0800 HST.
