This is a partial DRAFT RFP package for the anticipated AN/TMQ-53 Tactical Meteorological Observing System (TMOS), Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) effort. This effort is to provide the necessary support to sustain thecurrently fielded TMQ-53 systems in their approved configurations worldwide, inaccordance with (IAW) the requirements, as stated in this PWS.

This is a partial DRAFT RFP only, which as part of market research to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, is being issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(c). This DRAFT RFP is issued in attempt to identify and resolve concerns regarding acquisition strategy, including the feasibility of the requirement, performance requirements, performance work statement, technical requirements and data requirements.
This is not a solicitation/Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a solicitation and no contract shall be resultant from this synopsis. The Government is interested in the realism of the attached work statement and requests industry feedback on estimated response time for such a requirement as well as any other constructive feedback or general questions regarding the requirement. Please note, AFMC AFLCMC/HBAW will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this request. Responses will be use for informational purposes only and will not be viewed as a proposal. Furthermore, any information provided by industry to the Government, as a result of this request, is strictly voluntarily.
All questions shall be submitted as soon as possible to the above mentioned individuals. Responses will be released on a rolling basis. The DRAFT RFP, along with any final questions, will close on 06 December 2019. Responses to all final questions will be released on, or about, 10 January 2020.
A final RFP is anticipated to be released to Federal Business Opportunities after all necessary program arrangements and clearance reviews are complete. Questions beyond the identified DRAFT RFP submittal window should be sent to the identified Contract specialist. Thank you.
